Yesterday morning we became aware of a report raising concerns about Delve, a compliance automation platform we've used as part of our security program. We want to be transparent about what this means for Scape.
Delve is under scrutiny for allegedly issuing compliance reports without properly verifying customer security controls as well as the credibility of the independent auditors assigned to the customers. We began reviewing our posture and gathering information about the claims immediately after becoming aware of this.
Our security controls exist and operate independently of Delve. The question raised by this report is whether Delve and external independent auditors properly verified the implementations, not whether the controls themselves are in place. Based on our review today, we're confident in our security posture.
Our current audit is performed by Accorp Partners, an audit firm peer-reviewed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) claiming to work with customers such as PwC and Vodafone on their website. Our goal is to ensure every claim we make about our security posture is externally verified and trusted. To that end, we are doing two things in parallel. First, we have requested evidence from Delve regarding the credibility of the auditors assigned to our reports. Second, we are conducting a fresh, independent review of our compliance program with an additional AICPA-accredited auditor.
